Kora
During the summer of 2022 the artist will be making a series of performance works in various locations
In these works the artist will measure the location with her body, making reference to the Tibetan Pilgrimage tradition in which the faithful progress around a pilgrimage site by prostrating themselves, at full stretch, marking where their hands reach to, then standing walking to the point where their hands had been, and repeating the action. This type of pilgrimage is called a Kora
Biddy
The first of these performances took place in Bath as part of Fringe Arts Bath, in a programme of performances by older women called Biddy
A Studio Cleansing
The second of these performances took place at ACAVA studios on 3rd July 2022, in a programme of performances as part of the Open Studios
